By now, you've probably changed the oil a few times in your MK7 Volkswagen GTI either yourself or through the dealer. As your car climbs in mileage, regular oil changes are that much more important. This oil change kit features LIQUI MOLY Molygen, a UV-reactive oil that is as much a tool as a necessity.

MK7 VW GTI Molygen Oil Change Kit Replacement Symptoms
Unless you are completely letting your oil change go ignored, there aren't any symptoms per-say. With your MK7 Volkswagen and your GTI specifically, when your car is due to have its oil changed, an oil change message will show on the dashboard.
VW's specified oil-change interval is every 10,000 miles. However, if your car is tuned, you drive it on track, or if you don't hit that mileage in under a year, your interval could vary. If you're not hitting 10,000 miles per year, we recommend an annual oil change. If you are tracking your car or if it's tunes/modified, we recommend regular inspections of your oil for signs that it's ready to be replaced.
An oil change on your MK7 VW GTI is a simple process using a plastic oil pan drain plug and a plastic oil filter housing cap. Nothing can become seized and it is clear when both are tightened completely.
