How An Easy Suspension Mod Will Improve Your Tire Wear And Handling
So many car owners look for a quick hack or an easy modification that's not only relatively inexpensive, but will drastically improve the dynamics of the vehicle it's attached to. This is one of those upgrades.
It's called a thrust arm, and it locates the entire front suspension of your vehicle—a good one will keep camber and toe consistent, a bad one will show those variables constantly changing.
The GIF above shows the before and after of a thrust arm we replaced on our Mercedes C300 racecar, but the most impressive part is that the GIF on top doesn't even represent a "bad" part—it's the standard component from Mercedes-AMG. But we knew there was something better out there, and that's why we teamed up with Syncro Design works to make a custom unit for our racecar that's now available to purchase along with several other vehicle applications.
All the units from Syncro Design Works are simple installations since there's no bushing to be pressed in. Just unbolt the old unit, and bolt the new one in.
