FCP Euro Cyber Week

In the process of fixing up my Volvo V50, multiple large orders were placed to obtain the parts I needed. Most of these replacements were ordered through FCP Euro for their lifetime warranty. However, a few items were purchased elsewhere on the internet.

Not only did FCP Euro have the cheapest prices online, they also offered free shipping and had the parts on my doorstep within 48 hours. The other distributors took days before creating a shipping label and over a week passed before I saw my package.

Before I had the opportunity to begin turning wrenches, I decided to sell the V50 and move on to another project. What was I to do with all these brand new Volvo parts sitting in my living room?

While an attempt could have been made to sell the parts online, the obvious answer was to return the unopened items for a refund. FCP Euro made this process extremely simple and hassle free.

 

Returning New/Unused Parts to FCP Euro:

Step 1: Visit FCP Euro's website and log on to your account.



 

Step 2: Initiate the returns process by selecting the type of return you are submitting. In my scenario, I was returning new, unused parts which were no longer needed.

 

Step 3: Using the online form, select the parts you wish to return and provide a reason for "why." Once completed, print out the returns form to include in your box.

If you do not see your order number listed, or you wish to fill out the returns sheet by hand, you may print a blank form here.

Step 4: Carefully re-package your unused parts using sufficient packing material. Do not forget to include your completed returns form!

Step 5: Affix the FCP Euro return address to the box and deliver it to your preferred shipping handler. It is your responsibility to pay for return shipping.

The only delay to receiving a refund was waiting for the postal service to deliver the box. My return was processed the same day that the package was received. Within 24 hours, I had been fully reimbursed.

For items returned within 90 days of the original order, a refund will be issue to the card or account used for purchase. Returns after the 90 day limit will be reimbursed through the form of non-expiring store credit. Considering that FCP Euro offers the best prices for filters, fluids, and other routine maintenance items, store credit can be quickly redeemed.

Unfortunately, my returns experience has been less than satisfactory with the other online parts suppliers. Nearly seven days passed by before receiving a response to my initial returns inquiry from some sellers. Then a detailed explanation regarding the return sometimes has to be submitted. After waiting over a week since my return had been delivered, no refund action was taken until after I placed a phone call with their customer service, but this has never been the case with FCP Euro.

While I may be a blogger for FCP Euro, their A+ shopping experience has made me a loyal customer, and that's the perspective that I write this from. Quick shipping, lifetime warranty, and ease of returns are just a few of the reasons why I prefer to buy all my parts through FCP Euro.
