BMW Key Fob Battery Replacement

This might be the easiest BMW DIY you'll ever do.

If your BMW is having trouble locking, unlocking, or even turning on, it's probably time to replace the battery located within the key fob.

It's worth noting that this DIY works perfectly well for the rectangular key fob, and not the diamond-shaped FOB with the key sticking out of it.

The only part you'll need for this repair is the CR2450 battery, the rest can be accomplished by using parts found in the key FOB itself.
