Rounds four and five of the Michelin Pilot Challenge held at Watkins Glen proved to be the first big challenge that the FCP Euro Motorsports Team was faced with. During the first practice sessions, the team began tracking down the source of vibrations coming from the car. After tracing the issue back to a bad wheel bearing, they made it to qual with a ready-to-race, car. After qualifying P14, the four-hour race was going smoothly with Nate Vincent shaving time lap after lap. Immediately following some of his fastest laps of the session, a spin through The Esses and a run-in with the barrier was the first incident the team has had to tackle in their IMSA campaign. A fifteen-minute stint in the paddock and the car was back on track, nine laps down from the leaders, but able to complete the race.

With round six only days after, the team put their heads down and had the #11 AMG GT4 back together and ready for practice and qualifying for the two-hour endurance race. However, after running a time that would find them in P5, an incident with another car set them back yet again. With a mangled front end and now starting at the back of the field, the team had work to do to make up positions throughout the two hours. Once again they pulled through and were able to finish the race and make up a few positions along the way.

July 16th and 17th mark the dates of the Northeast Grand Prix at Lime Rock Park where Nate Vincent and Michael Hurczyn will be piloting the #11 AMG GT4 once again. Both drivers have extensive knowledge and thousands of laps of experience at the 1.5-mile circuit in the Northwest hills of Connecticut, only a touch over an hour away from FCP Euro's headquarters in Milford, CT.

The Northeast Grand Prix will test every driver as the 36 car field will be squeezed into the short circuit with both the GS and TCR class running times only a couple of seconds apart. The goal of our team, and every team here, will be to bring the cars home in one piece.
