Have you heard? We're expanding our facility to include a brand-new, 18,000 square-foot Customer Experience Center equipped with a full motorsports facility, content studio, 24-hour parts pickup and more. This week, the lower level below the mezzanine starts its transformation into the new distribution center outbound and returns area.
In episode four of our expansion updates, we explore the underbelly of the new mezzanine. With business rapidly growing, distribution space is at a premium, and this new area should solve that issue. All of the outbound automation systems and returns processing will be housed here, and our technology department will be nearby to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Fresh white paint and windows looking into the motorsports department bring the distribution center from dark and secluded to bright and inviting. In addition to this, the wall between our current distribution center and this new space is opening up to create one fluid layout.
The expansion continues to progress faster than anticipated. We'll be in the new space in no time, and you should be able to check it out during this years' first Cars and Coffee.
