As your Audi B8 ages, so does the suspension. Depending on where you live and your driving style, you may need to replace suspension components sooner than you realize. Our kit contains everything you need to refresh your front suspension back to its former self.
Audi B8 Control Arm Kit Replacement Symptoms
Over time your suspension wears out, and you might not immediately notice as it happens gradually. If you could compare your car's handling back-to-back from the day you purchased it to after you've racked up 70,000 miles, you'd immediately become aware (I know when I refreshed my suspension I had the "So that's what my car is supposed to feel like" revelation). As rubber ages, it becomes brittle and loses the ability to dampen movement. Eventually, the rubber can separate from the sleeve of the bushing and allow a considerable amount of motion; the opposite of what you want in a properly functioning suspension. Some of the symptoms when this begins to happen are:
- Clunking noises
- Rattle noises
- Noticeable degradation in handling
There isn't an exact mileage that you will begin to see symptoms of a worn suspension. It all depends on where you live, the condition of the roads you drive regularly, and how you drive.
