Audi B8 2.0 (A4, Q5, A6 & More) Intake Manifold Kit - Symptoms And Product Review
The Audi B8 2.0 engine has a plastic intake manifold that is an extremely common failure item due to the fact that that engine is direct-injected. Knowing how prevalent the issue is, Volkswagen/Audi offers a cost-effective replacement.
There's no way around it—direct injected engines will have carbon buildup and the Audi B8 2.0 engine is no stranger to this; the combustion chamber and intake manifold both build up with carbon. While there are special tools to blast your intake valves clean, you can't do this to the plastic intake manifold on these models.

Over time, carbon will build up on the flaps and runners inside the intake manifold. When this happens, it hinders the performance The symptoms of this buildup are:

To install this intake manifold, you have to remove your fuel injectors. To remove, install, and reseal the injectors, you need Audi/VW's special tool.
