You are now ready to take off the bulb socket that is holding the damaged bulb by pulling it out. Then, push the bulb in carefully while turning it clockwise to remove it. Pull the bulb straight out of the socket and use a clean cloth to pop in the new bulb. Put the socket back into the assembly and put back the trunk trim. If you are having problems with all of the lights in your BMW turn signal assembly, first turn off the engine and open the glove compartment. The fuse box is situated in the back of the glove compartment. Take off the cover of the fuse box and beneath the fuse box you will locate a pair of plastic tweezers, as well as the position of each fuse printed on the cover. Look for the tail lamp fuse. Use these tweezers to take off the tail lamp fuse and replace it with a new fuse with the same amperage. Put the cover back onto the fuse box and then shut the glove compartment.
