BMW Clutch Pedal Parts

BMW Clutch Pedal Parts
BMW has set themselves apart with their appetite for quality and instinctual designs. BMW has a valued reputation in all of their products, especially their clutch pedal parts and components. You will most likely need to take out your clutch pedal at some point if you do a lot of your own vehicle repairs. For example, you may need to fix the roller bearings or bushing on the clutch over time. Most clutch pedals work the same way, but the way you remove the clutch pedal may be different from make to make. The parts in your BMW’s clutch pedal are frequently dirty. It might be easier to work if you remove the seats. In many BMW’s, you need to take out the floorboard covers, which are frequently attached with screws, to reach the clutch pedal. Look to your owner's manual to govern how to access your clutch pedal assembly. Some BMW clutch pedal assemblies are attached to the floorboard with bolts, so you will need to disconnect the bolts first. Numerous clutch pedals are attached to a vehicle's slave cylinder with a tie-rod-end fitting; a metal pin runs through a hole on either side of the clutch pedal's arm and then through the hole in the end of the slave cylinder input shaft. If you have questions about BMW’s clutch pedal and component parts, the FCP Euro team and website are always here for you.

To eliminate your BMW’s clutch pedal from the slave cylinder, line up the holes so the metal pin can slide out. To line the holes up, wobble the clutch pedal up and down while pushing on the pin with your finger. A return piston or spring is typically attached to the mounting and clutch pedal arm with two metal clips. They arte engaged by retaining rings. Take out the retaining rings and slide the metal pins out of the clutch pedal to free it from the clutch pedal. Look down into the clutch pedal arm, and you can see a return spring in a small pocket. It is held in place with its own tension. Use a flat blade screwdriver with a long arm to push the spring in on itself, releasing it from the pedal arm. The clutch pedal should now slide off the arm.
